Raised in a family of architects, Maria was instilled with a knowledge of buildings and real estate early on. She has also owned several of her own properties as an investor over the years, now including one in New York and one abroad, which affords her inside insight on the purchase and sale process from a personal as well as professional perspective. Originally from Spain, Maria is fluent in English and Spanish, and comfortable dealing with people of all cultures and backgrounds. She listens to her clients’ unique needs, then wastes no time showing properties within their budget, size range and location preference. Maria also serves as a valued advisor if they cannot find exactly what they want, where they want it, often suggesting alternatives in other areas they may not have considered which may suit their lifestyle as well, or better. A resident of Battery Park for the last 12 years as a renter and a homeowner, Maria previously lived on Manhattan’s Upper West Side, and is well versed in all the city’s distinct neighborhoods downtown, uptown and everywhere in between. Maria earned her law degree from the University of Madrid in Spain in combination with Columbia University in New York City. She additionally holds a Masters in Law from the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid. Outside of work, her favorite interests include golf, sailing, skiing, play dates with her children, and volunteering at their school. Maria also serves on several committees in her building.
